Edward, The Majority of the land looks to be situated between Tullyvar Rd. / A5 and Lisginny Rd. in the Parish of Carnteel travelling between Ballygawley and Aughnacloy. Lisginny Rd. looks like it intersects the A5 at just about half way between Ballygawley and Aughnacloy. As I said the majority of the said land is just East of the A5 and to the North of Lisginny Rd. A small portion of it goes north beyond the A5. Alos Archibald Hadden looks to be buried in Ballygawley Presbyterian maybe it is possible you will find your people buried there or in Aughnacloy. Is there a way to find the location of this land? I have also found documents stating Samuel Cobean owned 65 acres of land in Canankilgreen, described in Griffiths Valuation [1.10.0 -1860] as Lot 20a. Samuel sold the land in 1864 to Archibald Hadden, whose grandson opened a limestone quarry known as Cavankilgreen Quarries ,part of the firm "Quarry Masters". Again I am looking to find the location. Any assistance to locating the lands would be appreciated, as I will be visiting Aughnacloy area soon.
