My name is Gerald Bailey and I am looking for information on the William Bailey and Jane family that came to the USA from Ireland in 1827. Their son David Bailey was born on board the ship to Canada. The William Bailey family got to New York about 19 Aug 1828 from Canada. A brother of William Bailey called David Bailey came to New York about two years before William. There were 3 children with the family and a young woman about 16 who could have been a sister to William, but has not been found. She may have gone back to Ireland. I am looking for the name of the ships from Ireland and then from Canada to the USA. Also just where in Ireland did they come from? They may have lived in Cork, Ireland for a time. Any help??
