Thank you to everyone who recently helped me on my James McFadden and his father Thomas. I'm sure the Thomas McFadden is my ancestor ... As noted he is the only one at Mullaghmore ( including Mountfield) in that era!! So grateful for all the clues and I'm reading up on the Stack family estate if some 3,000 plus acres .... Where Thomas McFadden had a plot of land to be a tenant. I'm currently gathering info on the Irish Linen Mills of that area and finding great readings. Thank you for the clues on the spelling of Hampton and Hempton.... I've now found an Irish paper with Rebecca McFadden marrying William "Hempton" at Mountfield.... In Canada we had it all but the English version for that marriage .... So I now understand what to look for. Thank you all.... Each for responding. I'm so open for more ideas or clues and so happy plus grateful. As a thank you to this sure and it's kind people I have a gift .... I've several transcriptions to complete yet.... But when done I will add them here. Our local rag goes back to our 1860s gold rush on the Fraser River here in BC, Canada. The transcriptions I need to to stem from our earliest records and I've been collecting anything to do with Tyrone County .... As I complete my collection I want to paste them here .... Or where? I'll send them to Jim??? Or please tell me where. Thank you all! This is the best site I know of .... Ever! Kind regards, Rocky Sampson on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC Canada. Ps: as noted... I've done my DNA through FTDNA and am full of questions in song that .... Oh my gosh .... So many Irish and Scottish names to weave through in my Mtdna!! I'll get there one day and find out who is who. cheers!!
