For anyone who missed the big reveal, the NLI's RC parish registers are online at registers.nli.ie. I got an initial 404 error, but tried a second time and had no problems accessing the site. And have not been bumped off. Looking good! I've looked through a couple of Tyrone parishes so far, on iPhone. Easy to navigate. Nice enhancements -- map showing adjoining parishes, thumbnails so you can jump ahead to later images quickly, header for each two-page spread giving that spread's year range. Easy to enlarge (the usual 3-finger spread). I assume / hope all this ease of use translates to computer access options... I hope all of you are finding new info, or at least capturing digital images of what you've previously transcribed.
