If the marriage of your forebears took place in a parish church (Church of Ireland) it will be locatable on FamilySearch; the Irish civil registration indexes are available for online searching - however you will need to know the registration district for accuracy. Protestant marriages were registered from 1845 - Catholic events did not fall within civil registration until 1864. Marriages generally took place in the church of the bride's family.
