    3. Ron Are your serious??? You just don't get the point at all. Only very rarely do people leave me virtually speechless , but this is one such occassion It's got nothing at all to do with "the succession of the alpha lion" or lionesses or anything else It's about this dentist , this creature, for want of a better word, this excuse for a human being who paid $55.000 to first lure out and then murder an endangered and protected wild animal just for the simple fun of it. Not only that, but he's done the same thing a number of times before. To date right minded people have roundly condemmed this piece of scum and his actions and he has, as far as I can determine, one supporter, namely yourself. Cecil's demise won't affect future lion populations... on that score, female lions are obviously much more valuable... a lot less wow factor, but more valuable nevertheless. > > Sometimes despicable acts like this need to occur to change culture... in which case this act may well end up saving many threatened wild animals lives which can only be a good thing... > > Ron > > On 30/07/2015, at 1:34 AM, Ulster Ancestry via wrote: > > > On > > July 1, Cecil the lion, one of the most famous and inoffensive animals in one of Zimbabwe's > > national parks, was shot by a bow hunter.
