    3. Here are the sources IFHF cites for Tyrone http://www.rootsireland.ie/ifhf/generic.php?filename=sources.tpl&selectedMenu=sources . They don't include anything in Errigal Keiran before 1847. The surrounding parishes are Berach, Ballygawley, Aughnacloy, Clogher and Errigal Truagh (both Tyrone and Monaghan). Given the geography, I think Aughnacloy might be most likely. I'm no expert. Judith Here's a question about this summer's release by the NLI of the RC baptism & marriage records. The Errigal Keiran / Ciaran Parish (Ballygawley area) baptism records book begins in January of 1847. However, on Roots Ireland (IFHF) I found Catholic baptism records from this parish from the 1820s & 30s, which of course are only transcripts. The obvious speculation is that these older baptism records were recorded in other parish books, which kept earlier records. Does anyone know where these older Errigal Keiran baptism records are & specifically what (neighboring) parish or parishes they came from? Or were they recorded by the CI, which seems less likely. I'm looking for the source & obviously, IFHF got them from somewhere. Any other Tyrone researchers attending the Ulster Historical Foundation family history conference in Belfast in three weeks? Thanks.
