Hello Friends Forgive me if I've already broached a subject for our community web-site, (let's just call it a reminder, instead of my senility <VBG>) For anyone new to our mailing list, this list has been working and collaberating together for quite some time, to bring together our *community* web-site. Our hostess for the site is Tammy, and we've recently been able to *welcome* Virginia to come on board (on a temporary basis) to help up-load and arrange pictures us. Please, if you have photos forward them on in a jpg format. Census Strays Biographies of Co. Tyrone people, which includes Ministers/Priests/Pastors, (Thanks Anne for that suggestion) Criminals/Rogues/Villians which also includes information the Omagh Gaol.and a 'cold case files' topic (Thanks for that one Tammy) Landowners/Land Descriptions and Land Rentals:- Many folks have a great deal of knowledge of the areas they are researching. Why not add a few paragraphs to help new-comers. Do you have any information on Estates? We sure could use that sort of data Obiituaries of Co. Tyrone folks (which is a different take on our gravestone project)- many folks only have the obits, and no cemetery photos or data to post to that area of our site.) Occupations- I've recently gathered inforamtion on labourers and Cottiers. Can anyone write up something on the linen industry? Or about the famous Tyrone crystal? I'm also working on Surgeons/physcians/apocarthy's and would love it if someone could submit a timeline of famines & diseases.
