Hi, I realize that this is the Fermanagh related site. But since you are on the topic here, I thought I would add something about the Boer War and Canadians who fought in it (some who came from Ireland and Scotland) The records of all Canadians who fought in the Boer War are searchable online at the Archives of Canada Website. I just used it yesterday and it is wonderful. I looked up the last A Stuart and A Stewart and found two men, one with a 44 page file the other with a 39 page file, and it was all readable online, the best thing about it was at the end, when I got to read the discharge papers, it listed the address they went to after being discharged. One man went to Seattle (originally born in Scotland, and had lived in Ontario prior to the War).
