Hello, I am looking for information prior to 1800 when one William and Margaret (Ukn.) Riddle / Riddel would have been in IRE. We know they were from Straubane, but as to when married, born, etc. we have no information. The children were, for the most part born in USA, Pennsylvania. I only know the births of 2 of the 5 children being 1769 & 1771. The other 3 could have been born earlier or in IRE, I do not know. I have copied the names and addresses of churches in Straubane from the web site but there is another listing for churches that shows only dates of 1800 + for information... does this mean that none of the churches have records earlier than this? I also do not know what denomination they were of, so I am willing to write to all addresses if need be. Does anyone have any suggestions as this family obviously came to the US before 1769? I did recieve a reply from Teena as to checking the ship passenger lists to Pa for early 1700s so will do that as well. Thank you for any help here, Ruth in IL
