Hi Clare & Claire & my Friends out there Please do not mind if I'm off topic a bit here. This involves the Legacy Family Tree Free version that I actually started with in 1996. I'll be as brief as possible. I've been struggling on my own for about 2 months now and have decided that my illiteracyI requires some help. Who better to ask than some of my friends on the list ? The problem involves the Legacy Family History Free version download, and a computer crash. Now I'm trying to use a back up copy that I made and all I have it seems are file extenisions fdb. There is no program on the Disk. I'm grateful for any ideas, as I am devastated by this loss. (my advice- make 2 back-ups just in case.) Thanks so very much~ Teena
Hi Teena, Couldn't you just go to http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/ and download a new free version, then use this program to open your files in?? Let me know if that works.
