I received this from another mail list that I'm on and thought it invaluable, so I am passing to our list, there are two newspapers from northern Ireland in the database as well. -------- Original Message -------- Hello everyone The Gale database of British newspapers is on line again on a trial basis, you can access it at: http://access.gale.com/newstrial/ password: british I'm not sure how long it will be on but it is a fabulous tool for finding farms lease ads. Type in the farm name (or part of it) - or person name, or the estate name and the relevant time period and you may get lucky. There is an absolute wealth of material hiding in there besides the farm ads, it's up to you to find it. Birth death, court - etc.. lots of info here... Good luck in your search.
