Hi List, My name is Kerry Hall from Queensland, Australia. Looking for any info on the SCOTT family prior to their arrival in Australia. I am a newby at research in Ireland so any help greatfully received. William SCOTT b: abt 1786 (son of Charles SCOTT and Jane BEATTIE) married to Mary GASTON b: abt 1793 County Tyrone, Ireland(daughter of John GASTON and Ann GRAHAM) they came to Australia abt 1847 with possibly 6 children. 3 children arrived on the "Glenswilly" 11 Mar 1841 they were Jane SCOTT married to John HAMILTON and their 2 sons William and James, Jane's sister Margaret SCOTT and brother Charles SCOTT.
