How would I go about starting a parish search?I know from death certs., obits. and baptisimal records that this family was Catholic. They were much involved in St. Anthony of Padua in Brooklyn,N.Y..Also, two of my John Martins' sisters mentioned in a bank record were , Ellen and Ann. I have death certs. for a Ellen McKenney and a Rosanna McKenny who gave their parents as Ellen Martin and James McKenney as Ellens' parents and Rosanna Martin and John McKenney as parents for Rosanna. I think the sister Ann could be the Rosanna Martin McKenney mentioned. Rosanna and Ellen are buried in the Martin family plot in Calvary Cemetery in N.Y..Informant on Rosannas' cert. was Mary Martin,cousin.. John Martin and Bridget Clark Martin had a daughter Mary.I have seen this name as McKenney, McKinney and McKenna. Anyone researching these folks? I am such a novice at this but learning as I go,with help.
