Suggestion -- If you haven't already - take a look at the Householder's Index for Co. Tyrone which indexes the surnames of the heads of household for the Tithe Applotment of the 1820s and Griffith's Valuation of the 1850s. You may find that the two surnames are present in the same civil parish. For the Tithe, you may find reference to your Edward or his father. The 'Householder's Index' is done by county, divided into baronies, parishes, townlands and has been filmed by the LDS. His daughter Lucinda was born on the 01.01.1883 at Derry and his son Alexander William was born 09.06.1832.in Tyrone. Edward was born in about 1809. He married Elizabeth in 1832 in Tyrone.
