I am researching this family. The information we have is that John Henery born c1823 in Drumquin and his religion was Church of Ireland. He joined the 1/11th Regiment and came to Australia in 1845. We have been able to trace him in Australia but know nothing of his family in Ireland otherthan his father's name was David and David's occupation was Land Steward. No mother's name was shown on his death certificate. A family story was that his sister became the Countess of Montjoy and immigrated to Canada.
