Hi Jan, Many thanks for your reply. I have been unable to find his death record or marriage record. His partner was Johanna Noonan a female convict from Waterford and I know that they had the permission to marry and presume that they did marry. At the time convicts were only allowed to marry in an Anglican church and as they were both RC they probable got married secretly. I know they stayed together for a long time and had at least 6 children.
