Hello, My family from County Tyrone is John/William Hegerty who left Ireland about 1855 with his wife Kathrine and their 3 year old son, William Hegerty. John/William was born August 6, 1832 in County Tyrone. I don't know if they were Catholic or not and don't really know where to turn. Any suggestions??? Thanks, Maxine

Maxine, Don't rule out alternate spellings such as Haggarty, Haggerty in your search. I don't have look-ups, but I'm sure that someone will try that for you.
