    3. I suppose that I am amongst the fortunate folk My folk left Tyrone very early. James McGrath was a convict....after a brawl with police James threw a stone that 3 days later killed a policeman at the Dromore Fair and arrived in NSW 1828... 6 families followed...3 saying their parents were Dudley McGrath and Rose Quin 1839 40 and 1841 though Charles who arrived 1841 married in Donegal and married a Gallagher there having 3 children and other 3 families arrived same ships 1840 and 41 saying that Patrick McGrth and Rose Moss were their parents so with 29 children in line a large base was established here,,,one of the girls married the convict and other families from the same places arrived and intermarried..calling each other..in law and cousin so...I am lucky BUT gee I would love to know how Patrick and Dudley were related if other siblings went to other countries So my holiday to Tyrone will be centred on Termonamongan visiting Dromore and Castlederg knowing that there will be little for me there unless a relative has a family tree that could help but I know no one there...so we will just look at the sites and take lots of pics christene

    3. He must have been very strong to throw a stone that 3 days later killed a policeman at the Dromore Fair!
