Thank you all for the replies and links. Perhaps I'd better state why I started down this track. Thomas FITZPATRICK b c1851, (my post from a few day's back has more details): http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/CoTyroneIreland/2009-05/1243132697 emigrated to New Zealand in 1866, coming from Omar County, (sic) Tyrone. I'm assuming Omagh as a starting point. >From Griffith's (printed 1860) I have 1) Thomas, Landlord: EARL of BELMORE County TYRONE Barony OMAGH, EAST Union OMAGH Parish CLOGHERNY Townland LEGACURRY And Tithe Applotments (1826) 2) John, Legacurry, Clogherny. My Thomas' father's name is given as John. So from this information and what your replies have said this would be the RC parish of Beragh, Archdiocese of Armagh?? Can I tell from this what church Thomas may have attended? Thanks to all Bryan
