I have a unwanted death certificate, dated July 31st 1921 at Numulgi/Bexhill NSW, for Alexander Elliott son of William, born 1847 Co.Tyrone. The certificate states that in 1921, Alexander had been in the colony of NSW for 41 years, which indicates he emigrated in 1880 when 33 years old. No record of Alexander Elliott's arrival has been found. In 1883 Alexander married a Mary Chick in Sutton Forrest NSW. Alexander and Mary produced 7 sons and five daughters between 1884 and 1901.
