    3. I have been trying for a long time to get more information about the Hanna family in Derrylea, Tyrone. My Great Grandmother Sarah and her Father Thomas Hanna came from there to New York. I finally got in touch today with an American family member who had actually been there a few years ago. They told me a tale about their Ancestry search. They drove off at an interchange near where the town was supposed to be located and eventually found a small store and were told to check with the postmaster who turned out to be located in a part of the store. They asked about the family farm and were told to go back to the ChippyVan by the interchange. At first they did not understand what the postmaster was talking about, but finally got the message that there was a french fry vending van parked out there. It turned out that the ChippyVan driver was a relative and he gave directions. They found the house and while they were there the ChippyVan person showed up and said the closest relations were next door. No one was home. The Van owner asked for their email address and promised to get in touch. Unfortunately they did not get his address. They've never heard from him. The description of the village explains why I can never find the exact location on the map services online. They say there is nothing there but the little store and it's post office inside. Their visit was not a serious search for genealogy purposes; more of a hopeful side trip on a tour of the old sod. I wish they'd got some names and addresses. I suppose it is too much to hope that anyone on this list knows the ChippyVan vendor at the interchange near Derrylea not too far from Dungannon in County Tyrone? :^) This was a great opportunity missed!
