    3. Hi On the Irish BMD indexes on the LDS website, can I say that these records will always be available. Last year we transcribed 115 million records for the LDS website and are continuing to transcribe this year as well. They are on the Pilot site because when we originally started transcribing we were trying them out and frequent 'tweaks' had to be made. This is still the case and from time to time the site goes down for maintenance. If you wish to see which transcriptions have been completed (not all are on site yet), which are being transcribed at the moment and which are to be transcribed in the future, go to http://www.familysearchindexing.org/en/home/home.jsf?pname='homeTab' and click on the tab at the top of the page that is headed Projects. There are no post 1958 records on the site, however, for any members living in Scotland, the birth indexes for Northern Ireland from 1922 to 1993 are available on one of the stand alone computers at the GRO in Edinburgh. I cannot say if they have plans to make the marriage and death indexes available also. I will enquire about this when I'm there in February. May I point out that I am not a member of the Mormon church. I transcribe records for them because I feel that I have received so much free information from the LDS that it is only fair and proper that I give something back in return. I hope this is helpful to you all. Good Luck with your Irish searches Theresa _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live Messenger just got better .Video display pics, contact updates & more. http://www.download.live.com/messenger

    3. Yesterday I found two records that are important to my research. I am wondering if there is anyone online who would be able to do lookups for the complete information? Of course, I can order the films, but I am so excited! I would like to know all of the information listed for: Name: William KERR Registration District: Omagh Record Type: DEATHS Jan-Mar 1890 Film number: 101596 Vol 2 Page 238 Digital GS number 4200678 Imagine Number: 00048 And, I would love to find a marriage for this same man. On a tombstone at Cappagh C of I Church it lists William Kerr of Teraquin. His uncles are all FERGUS men, so I am hoping that his mother was perhaps a FERGUS! I've been following all FERGUS listings in Ulster Province for 14 years and hoping for a break-through soon! Cynthia N.
