Has anyone been able to match marriages, find out name of spouse, in the pilot lds Irish records? I tried to do this yesterday, but was unable to connect to a spouse. I am an indexer, but have been doing the census. It is a great service and challenge. Since my Tyrone ancestors went to Philadelphia, the records on this pilot program solved a big link on my pedigree. I found the ggrandparents that I went to Ireland year and half ago to locate, and hear they were in Philadelphia. I even found my ggrandfather's death, in 1847, a week after arriving in Philadelphia. Barbara, The Index does not give the spouse's name, ven in the original bound book format. Apart from pulling the actual certificate, a possible to to confirm whether the entry is the right one is to check for both the bride's and groom's entries in the index. If the volume and page are the same for both, it's worth taking a look and trying to get the certificate. (Warning: it is also possible that those two names appear in difference marriage records on the same page) -Clare L -----Original Message----- From: Barbara Harding <lind06@bellsouth.net> <<< Has anyone been able to match marriages, find out name of spouse, in the pilot lds Irish records?
