    3. Edward, the quickest way to see maps is to check Griffith's Valuation and search for the townlands and surnames of interest which will have links to maps. Also, the original image will note the immediate lessor (which can often be a major landlord) and you can work back from that time frame. http://askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/ Clare L. (Ass't Admin) -----Original Message----- Edward wrote Hello Have been following the site and discussions for some time. This is the first time seeking information. I am looking for information on the Moore Estate in Skey and area and the Sir Hugh Stewart Estate near Ballygawaley. Also where can I locate maps of the townlands in the Parishes of Carnteel, Termonmaguirk, Killeeshill, Aghaloo, Errigal Keerogue . I am researching my family of Cobean/Cobain/Cobene etc. who lived in the town lands of Skey & Dunmisk about 1750- 1820 coming to Canada [Ontario] circa 1808. Any help is appreciated.

    3. Just a friendly reminder to us all. I have not been following this digest very long, but the few times I posted, I recalled the note that one should delete the history from the previous posts. This keeps the content lower and easier to follow. Lately I have gotten lost in the threads and I am sure I missed new content. Cheers Donald Kennedy

    3. Hi Len! You wanted feedback regarding your Abercorn Estate transcriptions. My Robert and Jane McGee (GGG grandparents) came to Canada from Leckpatrick C.P. ca 1798, with 4 sons and a daughter. As you know, there were a few McGees of various spellings on the Abercorn Estate at that time, but I can't link any of them to my family. So yes, please continue your good work on this wonderful website!
