Hi Annette, It is most definately a placename, but I can't find one so far in Kilcash. The usual spelling is Corraun in the townland Index. The closest one appears to be in Co. Laois in Aghaboe parish. Maybe Pete can tell us how far away that is and would Kilcash have been the closest large market town?
