When the new Dippam site was uploaded from the Southampton Library some of the items including the townland index were only partially transferred. The townland index was in 9 parts on the Southampton site. If you go to the Southampton site, http://www.southampton.ac.uk/library/index.shtml click on Web Cat on the right hand side. Then type in "Census of Ireland 1871: Alphabetical index to Townlands and Towns of Ireland" and in the material type click on British Official Publications. Then when you click search the 9 parts are there for downloading.
