Pat: In your website I noted the Maher/Meagher locations, two from Templemore and one from Roscrea. I also note the imprisonment of Thomas Francis Meagher before his escape from the Tazmanian exportation to the USA. I have a John Matthew Meagher b. abt 1805 married to Mary Bridget Burke, b. abt 1809, both in Tipperary, who had children, Mary, Thomas Francis, Margaret, Jeramiah, Edward & John, all born between abt 1930 and 1838 in Tipperary. Thomas Francis was born 24 Dec. 1833, married Bridget Agnes Conway, b. abt. 1833, in Tipperary, m. abt. 1855 and emigrated to (first known) Geneseo, N.Y., where their first son, John Francis was born on 18 Aug. 1856. They then moved on to Proton Twp., Grey County, Ontario, where siblings James Jeramiah, Thomas, Edward, Catherine & Patrick were born. After John Francis died in Glenelg Twp., Grey County on July 13, 1916, his wife, Margaret Adelaide Fogarty and the rest of his children moved on to Akron, Ohio. Thomas Francis's first wife Bridget died about 1869, and he married again, fathering an additional eight children, before he died in 1919 in Glenelg Twp., Ontario. Two of his siblings, Jeramiah and Edward were thought to have died in Buffalo, N.Y. and Toledo, Ohio, respectively. Can you find any connection to the Meaghers shown in your "Tree"?
