It is finished and if I ever have to type "John Ryan" again, it will be too soon. For anyone who wants to look at the total work, it is in the archives http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/index/CoTipperary/2012-02 I hurried to get it all into a single month, although I may have a couple of corrections into March. Janet A brilliant job. Well done. (I trust that you did the necessary micro pauses with all that typing.) You jest at the number of John Ryans. My gt gr father was a John Ryan and any records for him just show Tipperary. Was it the town or the county? Then with a 15yr span for his possible birth date and no known Ryan family nickname I probably wouldn't even recognise my John Ryan. But the name of Henry Ryan does appear and in the right location so hope spring eternal. Thank you :) Take care.
