Hi Kevin They arrived in Sydney NSW on the St Lawrence on 8th June 1877. Mothers name was Johanna Scully, Church St Tipperary Town. 1. Mary Scully.......said she had no relatives in colonies, sponsored by Mary Ryan 2. Ellen Sheedy.....said both her parents were dead, said she had a step-brother in Sydney called Patrick Ryan. ( spouse of Mary Ryan ?) 3. Julia Sheedy.... 17 yr old sister of Ellen. Mary Scully and the Sheedy girls seem to be connected, dont know how? Mary's two sisters Sarah and Julia Scully also emigrated to sydney, Sarah on the ship Northampton in 1880 and Julia in 1879. In the 1901 census Johanna was living with her daughter Lizzie Landers and her son-in-law William. She was a widow.. Johanna Scully( mother ) died in 1907. On death record her husbands name was Thomas scully and informant was Lizzie Landers Church St Tipperary.
