    3. Hi Della I haven't tried searching Ireland for law records but have thoroughly searched Trove. John Flanagan worked for Samuel Munchley South prior to being admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria but no idea who he worked for being admitted. I did find he had something to do with Caroline Chisholm at one stage.     3. Also Was Johns wife listed as a widow when she died and where is she buried? Most cemetery trusts will tell you who is buried in the same plot. try the site called Australian cemeteries And Victorian death certificates can contain a huge amount of information, just depends on who filled it out. You may be able to put his wife name in to the john Flanagan search in the BMD data base and narrow it down that way, without buying anything. Della Palmer
