Henry Ryan b c 1846 ( Ireland), d 1897 in TIP Town and Margaret Scully b 1848 Cashel d 1909 TIP town.  (Margaret’s parents were Patrick Scully and Mary Ryan of Golden & Cashel)Henry was in Chicago between 1869 and 1870.  I’m unsure when Margaret went to Chicago but they are both recorded in the 1870 US Census in Cook County Il.I cannot find their marriage in Ireland so options are they married on the ship in Canada/ New York or in Chicago. I have not located Henry’s birth to allow me to identify his parents. The family was in TIP town from Jun 1874 onwards. The eldest child and possible the only descendant who actually remained in Ireland is the one line that I have been unable to trace descendants etc;1.    Ellen or Helena (Nellie) b 1870 (Chicago) but lived in TIP Town from 1874 till at least 1924 She married John Condon b 1867.(Parents Michael Condon & Johanna Kelly. ) in 1895 Limerick I have been unable to identify when or where either Nellie or John died. They 5 children; ·         Johanna b 1896 (Tip town) m 1914 (Dublin) Thomas Hogan b 1895 ( Parents James Hogan & Mary Roche )  they had 2 children born in Dublin Kathleen b 1915 and James b 1916.·         Michael Christopher b 1897 b TIP town·         Henry b 1899 b TIP town·         Catherine b 1901 b TIP town·         John Christopher b 1910 TIP town Henry & Margaret’s other children were;2.    John Patrick b 1872, went to Salford, England m 1918 Ellen Lamb..3.    Matthew b 1874 was in Queensland Australia never married.4.    Thomas b 1876 d 1880 in TIP town5.    Henry Joseph b 1878 d 1918 France. He never married.6.    Mary Bridget (Molly)b 1878 , emigrated to New Zealand m John Hopper .7.    Catherine (Kitty) b 1879 emigrated to New Zealand, m William Clare.8.    Denis b 1880 went to New York m Hannah McCormack.9.    Margaret (Madge) b 1882 emigrated to New Zealand. I have not been able to trace her after 1924.10.  Thomas Joseph b 1885 emigrated to New Zealand. He never married.11.  Johanna ( Josephine) b 1886 emigrated to New Zealand, m Patrick Kennedy.12.  Bridget (Bridie) b 1887 d 1890 TIP Town. Any assistance or advice especially on the Condon /Hogan lines would be greatly appreciated.
