Annette, I have recently learned my gr grandfather's sister Mary MASON b. Mar 16 1845 Cloonaughter, Co. Clare m. Apr 19 1879 in Chicago IL to Michael Smith b.c. 1850 unknown Ireland. Mary immigrated c.1870. Because Mary's birthplace was so near Co. Tipperary and Co. Limerick, I though I'd post to see if you or someone else might see a connection.
