I noticed that within the grave yard off the Main Street in Adare, Co. Limerick there is an area marked for babies. It is on the extreme right by the wall. Next time I am there I will make note of the notice and tell you. Do other graveyards have such spaces? This is from an oral history story. Long ago (don't have dates) babies born to single mothers were baptised at midnight. Usually, one sponsor, and male. Anyone know more about this 'custom.' Betty
