Janet Thanks so much for all your work. Have been distracted with the parish records coming online but will soon concentrate on looking at the townlands as I recognised some of those hard to read. In the Eliogarty list No 7- I would think that Edmund Gorman was in Garranroe not Garranane - I'm interested in the Gormans of Garranroe as I recently found something that indicated that my gt-grandfather Terence Gorman was born there so am busy trying to track through the parish records. Thanks, Clare. Aggi-Rose has tried and succeeded in enhancing the lists so I will later be able to clarify a lot of names and placenames, but right now I am not stopping to look things up. Any help whenever is appreciated. I have dug a little into the records and picked up a couple of transcription errors already. Having the original records will really help. It's like finding a treasure box and one doesn't know which parish to delve into first.
