    3. post 11 concludes Lower Ormond Barony, and as you can see from this first draft, lots needs work. I think a comparison of the Tithes to Griffiths to this list might produce a lot of clarification of the names and places. My next posting will be for the Barony of Upper Ormond. Should you require the information these lists also include what was owned, i.e. house, lands, etc. Looking well on to the future, I also have an Index to Limerick Wills from 1858 - 1893 with copies of the wills for CoTipperary subbers who have reles into Limerick, or who think they might. I won't be posting anything on these until I finish Freemen for all of Tipp. Janet

    3. Hi, Janet: I saw in IRL TIP archives that you had posted re: a townland called Brocca. You'd indicated it was also known as Brockaghbeg, Brockeagh, Broceagh in RC parish of Terryglass, Lower Ormond, N. Tipperary. I'm searching Hogan and Tuohy from Cappanasmear/Garryard and was looking at a Darby Meara/Mara and Judy Hogan of Brocca in the RC Baptism records ca 1845. Can you tell me where Brocca was (near which other townlands), by chance? I'm finding nothing in Griffith's map search, nor Google... Thanks!! Tina P.S. Quigley surname as baptism sponsors for my Hogans, if that's of interest to you.
