There are some great letters written from Australia to Tipperary in the following book. One of the chapters is called a "Happy Home for you and myself", and that chapter is about a Michael Hogan. Michael Hogan was born in about 1806, the son of Mathew Hogan, 'farmer', and Ellen Dwyer. There are letters home to his brother Mathew, etc. Michael also had a brother James who went to America. Michael came from Cappagh in the civil parish of Toem. The other chapter which has a Tipperary family is the Dalton's from Athassel Abbey. Mary
