Hello Phil, The information is from the death cert of Patrick Collins, On the 1851 Canadian census he is listed with his wife Honora and a daughter identified only as M, their ages were 40, 41 and 8. Patrick was born in Tipp, Honora in Ireland and M in Canada West (Oxford Co, Ontario). There were 15 Patrick Collins in Canada West (Ontario) in the 1851 census but this one is the only one that has been identifed as having been born in Tipp. Their daughter M for Margaret married, Margaret Collins, 29, spinster, b and residence East Oxford father - Patrick Collins, mother - Hannah Kane married on Nov 6 1873 in Woodstock Patrick Haney, 28, bachelor, carpenter, b Nova Scotia, residence Princeton father - Dennis Haney, mother Bridget Hanlon 1881 Census - Oxford East, Oxford South Co, Ontario HANEY Patrick 38 b Nova Scotia Margaret 36 b Ontario John P 5 b Ontario William G 4 b Ontario Mary 2 b Ontario and COLLINS, Honora 70 b Ireland They also had a son James Leo on 15 Sep 1885 in East Oxford The 1901 and 1911 Canadian census are at automatedgenealogy.com if this is the family you are looking for.
