There are both Hogan's and Ryan's in this parish, but there are also the same surnames in many other parishes. The least expensive and quickest way to see if you can pick them up is to use Tipperary Family History Research (TFHR) in the |Excel center in Tipperary Town and you can do this through their website. Ask for a "single record search" (inexpensive) for the baptism of Catherine, with those parents. If they can't pin them down, then you will have a lot of research to do in both Australia and Ireland. One of you next steps would be to read through the Archives of this list as there is much available there to help you. The archives can be accessed through the CoTipperary subscription page where you joined the list. There is also a second list - IRL-Tipperary - that will also have information. Pat Connors and Christina Hunt also maintain websites for Tipperary data and you will find the addys in the archives of both lists.
