Looking for information on my ggrandparents William FITZGERALD and Alice (NOLAN) FITZGERALD .There is a possibility they are from LICKFINN near Killenaulle. That's the only info I have on the parents. The only childlren I know of are WILLIAM FITZGERALD b.between 1828 and 1834 and MICHAEL FITZGERALD b. between 1828 and 1834 also. The children both emigrated to the US in 1859 and 1867 settling in Dane Co. Wisconsin. William married Mary BEARD and MIchael never married. Any help is appreciated. I have Dillon and Canfield ancestors from Ireland, but I don't know what county they were from. They settled in the coal mining region of eastern Pennsylvania, possibly in the mid 1800s. Does anyone know if these are common surnames in Tipperary? Judy in Ocala
