From the Hibbert Review, by Isabella Campbell, 1953 - 1959 Concession 1 (or 2), Lot 20 Patrick ROACH of County Carlow, who was married to Mary DERMODY of County Tipperary, owned the South 50 of Lot 20 - sons Edward and James had 50 acres each. James died young, one half of his 50 went to Peter DeCOURSEY and the other half to Edward. Edward's son Joseph, who was found dead in 1955 from gas fumes in a small trailer cabin at Chatham where he was working with the Canada Comstock Company, had the 75 acres for a number of years after his parents. Patrick J McGRATH had this lot in later years and his son Edward is the present occupant.
