Thankfully I made a connection after 4 tries - 20 euros. I found John Minogue Baptized: 05/04/1854 Address: Garrybeg Parish/District: Portroe County: Tipperary But where is Garrybeg? He may have just worked in Portroe, Co Tipperary and went back to his family in Garrybeg. But I do not know this for certain. I can't find Garrybeg. At the IFHF web site, I found that his son John Minogue was Baptized in Portroe, Co Tipperary in 1854 (below) with an address of Garrybeg. By my family's history I know that his son John J. Minogue, who was born in Co Tipperary in 1854, and his family emigrated to Poultney, Vermont via Troy, NY.
