    3. Hi, I need some advice. I found my relative through the Irish Family History Foundation's Irish Genealogical Online Record Search System (ORS) during their St Patrick's/Easter discount. Thankfully I made a connection after 4 tries - 20 euros. I found John Minogue Baptized: 05/04/1854 Address: Garrybeg Parish/District: Portroe County: Tipperary But where is Garrybeg? Can anyone provide assistance? thanks, Mike Minogue

    3. Laurie the Irish Family History Foundation's Irish Genealogical Online Record Search System (ORS) web site is http://ifhf.brsgenealogy.com/index.php?&set=yes<http://ifhf.brsgenealogy.com/index.php?&set=yes> The John Minogue (senior) I am researching may have taken his family from Co Clare to Co Tipperary to work in the slate quarries. He may have just worked in Portroe, Co Tipperary and went back to his family in Garrybeg. But I do not know this for certain. I can't find Garrybeg. At the IFHF web site, I found that his son John Minogue was Baptized in Portroe, Co Tipperary in 1854 (below) with an address of Garrybeg. By my family's history I know that his son John J. Minogue, who was born in Co Tipperary in 1854, and his family emigrated to Poultney, Vermont via Troy, NY. I don't know what happened to his father John Minogue (senior) from Garrybeg. thanks, Mike Minogue ----- Original Message ----- From: Laurie Thompson<mailto:lt030329@bigpond.net.au> To: cotipperary@rootsweb.com<mailto:cotipperary@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, March 18, 2008 10:11 PM Subject: Re: [COTIPPERARY] Garrybeg in Co Tipperary or Co Clare?
