Hi - I do feel silly asking this because I probably should know the answer, but what is a euro worth in American dollars? I know all about American money - how to save it, invest it and mostly how to spend it, but I don't know a thing about euros. Thank you. Patty in Oklahoma, USA
Patty, At the moment the Euro is worth about $1.60. Or to put it in the opposite direction, the Dollar is pretty pathetic against the Euro. Janet, Thank you for your help! I honestly had no idea what a Euro was worth, but I do watch the stock market - not because I can afford stock - but because I can see how pathetic our money is here right now. I hear them say how the dollar compares to the Euro and now I also will know what they are talking about. Looks like I should think about leaving the country and going to another county - like IRELAND of course. It's my dream to go there for sure. Again, thank you SO much. I do appreciate it. Laurie, Thank you for making feel not quite so silly. I really don't know a lot about corn in Oklahoma because my home is in Illinois. In Illinois I do know about corn and what I know about it is that I love to eat Illinois corn. I wanted to buy a farm, but my Dad always said NO - he had to work on farms when he was a boy. Corn as high as an elephant's eye would be rather high, I think, and I really haven't seen any corn in Oklahoma that compares to the high corn in Illinois. HA. Thanks again.
