On asking for the relevance of the sign we were informed , It is an Apache Indian (USA ) word for Wild Woman

    3. My distant Irish back ground lead me to believe the Banshee was a sprit woman who wailed as death draw near. i.e. "the screaming Banshee's" was the worst feeling my grandfather could get.
