The story is that the Banshee would come to the area three days before someone died, and at death, take the soul. My grandmother (died in the '50's) actually foretold several deaths in the town three days before the person died. She claimed to be able to hear the Banshees calling!! She also told that a person wasn't going to die even when the Dr said the person would! Because the Banshees weren't there!! Strange!!
