Hello everyone, Here is an more extensive list of what I know about my family from Kilsheelan. *Arthur & Maria (Stack) Gorman* (only seen these names once but have no confirmation) - *James Gorman* (b: abt 1815 in Ireland, d: abt 1890 in USA) married *Mary Dee* in Ireland the immigrated to USA in about 1854 - *William Gorman* (b: jun 8 1853 in Kilsheelan, Waterford d: in USA) his godparents: *Patrick Shea & Catherine Hickey* - Patrick Gorman (b: aug 1855 in Pawtucket, RI, USA) his godparents: *William Lonnergan* and *Catherine Connors* - *William Gorman* (b: about 1825 in Ireland, d: abt 1890 in USA) married *Catherine Connors* in 1857 Pawtucket, RI. USA I have not listed all their children as the majority of them were born in the USA. But the names in bold are all from Ireland or never left Ireland and I presume were from the general area of Kilsheelan parish. Hi Jim, My husband's family is from the Kilsheelan/Kilcash parish. I believe Kilsheelan is in County Tipperary, but it's right on the border of County Waterford and Tipperary. We were there 2 years ago and visited the Kilsheelan Church and Kilcash Church. We also looked through the graveyards. While Gorman is not in my husband's ancestry (yet), he does have Shea's and Lonergan's (still need to confirm the latter). I have copied the baptismal records from the Kilsheelan/Kilcash parish for a 3-month period in the years 1870 and 1868. I will check and see if I find any Gorman's.
