    3. Hi Pete, It sounds very likely that there is a link between the ENGLISH and FARRELL families - but I'm afraid that I don't know quite how they connect. The Con English you mention as a sponsor in 1862 may well have been of my family but it isn't clear. I've just looked through all of my transcription material - but there are no Farrells in my records from Annacarty or Clonoulty and it isn't in the right timeframe for you anyway. Good luck.
