There is this: My great grandfather, Thomas MEAGHER/MAHER, signed his first naturalization papers in Scioto County, OH; and in his sister Bridget's obit, it says 'they' came to Dunkirk, OH. I don't understand this; the places aren't at all near. Both of them, and other siblings, were single when they arrived (famine era) and were married later in Muscatine County, IA.
