I am a lurker. I just read and donât contribute. My gggrandparents and eight children came from Tipperary to Syracuse, NY (Geddes area) in 1863. The family name was Crough or Crowe or Croke or Crow (all versions used by family members at different times). I am told that one of the eight children was born in Ballyboy, Thurles, Upperchurch. They may have all been born there. I spend most of my genealogy time tracing their descendants in the US and have not yet made an attempt to locate them in Ireland. May 1847 Dennis b. 1848 Nora or Hannorah b. 1850 Daniel b. 1851 Thomas M. b. 2 Feb 1852 Michael b.2 Jul 1854 All dates are approximate, but probably close to accurate. I would be interested if someone could steer me to a source for baptism records and the marriage record of Michael & Margaret.
