thanks one and all for whatever information you may have sent on the Maher and Butler families. Although I looked at the cemeteries listed, none contained any of my family members. It is interesting, though, how often family given names are repeated over and over again. Even though families in some of the cemeteries don't appear to be related (yet), given names of children are nearly identical to ours. One problem I have had in finding the death of my grandfather's mother is that there were so many Mary Butler Maher's listed. Same goes with her husband James. It continued, of course, with the subsequent generation which contained at least six James Maher grandsons. Sorry the e-mail didn't work, Sheila, as the one listed is the one I use and receive mail through. Taking the cemetery listings with me this week, as I hope to visit the Annfield area this coming Friday.
